Sewing Retreats UK

Join a small-group sewing retreat and learn to create garments that truly fit using the Sure Fit Designs custom-fitting system. Whether you're creating your first sloper or building on existing skills, in this garment-fitting class you'll enjoy personalised guidance, hands-on learning, and the encouragement of fellow makers in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Group sizes are intentionally kept small so every participant receives individual attention throughout the day.

What You'll Experience

Depending on the retreat, you may:

  • Create your own custom-fit sloper from scratch, using a Sure Fit Designs Master Pattern Kit, or,
  • Bring your well-fitting Sure Fit Designs sloper and use it to design, test, and refine a brand-new garment style

You will:

  • Receive personalised guidance throughout the workshop
  • Improve your confidence using the Sure Fit Designs system
  • Learn professional fitting techniques and understand why adjustments are made
  • Connect with fellow makers who share your passion for sewing and garment design

Retreat Location

Retreats are normally held in South West London, England, although occasional events may be offered in other locations. Specific dates, venue details, and schedules are announced as new events become available.
